Welcome to Central Perk Softball!
Our mission at Central Perk Softball is a community environment where young athletes have fun, compete, and grow as softball players.
CP offers programs for softball players ages 5-15. A player's "softball age" is their age as of January 1.
Quick Ball (6U) – Girls ages 5-6 (combined with boys) - Please see the Quick Ball description under the Baseball section.
Rookie (8U) – Girls ages 6-8 - 11” ball, pitching machine. Focus is on the fundamentals of the game, as players are introduced to and learn all the positions. Plays in-house CP teams and other local leagues.
Minors (10U) – Girls ages 9-10 - 11” ball, 35’ pitching distance, kid pitch. Continued focus on fundamentals, with introduction to softball gameplay and rules. Plays in-house CP teams and other local leagues.
Majors (12U) – Girls ages 11-12 - 12” ball, 40’ pitching distance. Players are introduced to more advanced rules and softball strategy while continuing to build on the fundamentals. Plays in-house CP teams and other local leagues.
VIGS (15U) – Girls ages 13-15 - 12” ball, 43’ pitching distance. Plays against other local leagues in the Valley Intercommunity Girls Softball league.
Select Softball - A program for players who want to play more softball and raise their level of competition. Select teams play on Sundays during the spring and in tournaments during the summer.

CP Softball players should come to practice and games with the following:
Softball jersey and softball socks are provided by the league each season. Black softball pants or athletic pants are worn for games.
