The CP 7U Developmental Program is designed to provide young players with extra summer reps in a fun, instructional environment focused on skill development, fundamentals, confidence, and game experience. This program is ideal for players looking to continue developing their baseball skills and build a stronger foundation for future baseball opportunities, including potential future travel baseball interest.
Ages
What aged players are appropriate for this program?
Players eligible for the 7U age group for the 2026-2027 season.
Players must be 7 years old or younger as of 5/1/26 (typically ages 6-7).
When
What time of the year does this program run?
The program runs during the summer beginning in mid-June and includes weekly practices plus end-of-program games.
Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Practices and games will be held at the CP baseball complex in Schwenksville, PA.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Players will participate in instructor-led practices and development sessions three times per week:
- Tuesdays: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Thursdays: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
The program will conclude with 2 games at the end of the season to give players an opportunity to apply skills learned throughout the summer.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
Registration includes:
- 2 program shirts
- 1 CP hat
Players should provide their own baseball pants, glove, bat, helmet, and cleats.
