Volunteer Registration

Central Perkiomen Youth Association (CP) is committed to providing a safe and trustworthy environment for all players and families.

In accordance with Pennsylvania’s Child Protective Services Law (CPSL) and the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services “Keep Kids Safe” requirements, all coaches and volunteers who have direct contact with players must obtain required child abuse and criminal background clearances.

These requirements are established by Pennsylvania law and are consistent with the standards used by local school districts and youth-serving organizations throughout the Commonwealth.

Required Clearances

All CP volunteers must complete:

• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance (PATCH)
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI Criminal Background Check (when required under PA law)

CP manages this process through our secure screening platform to ensure consistency, compliance, and confidentiality.
